Are Wedding Planners for people like me?

Some frequently asked questions by our previous clients…

Firstly, a project manager. Weddings involve an average of 22 suppliers and we spend a lot of time liaising with and managing each and every one of them in the lead-up to the event and on the day itself. Things will go wrong. It’s a fact. However, wedding planners are also crisis managers. It’s what you don’t see that really highlights the value of a wedding planner. The celebrant doesn’t show up, the marquee collapses in windy weather, the cake is delivered to the wrong venue, there is insufficient power for the band to set up, the vintage car breaks down en route… the list of things that can and do go wrong is endless. A good wedding planner is quietly and calmly in the background, resolving every issue, preempting any disasters and ensuring you and your guests are blissfully unaware!

Do you work? Does your partner work? Can you afford to spend hours on the internet trying to find good suppliers who will deliver on time, or a great venue with superb food and service? The average wedding takes around 250 hours to plan and we know that today’s professional couples don’t have that sort of time to spare. Our role is to take the stress out of the planning and give you back your valuable time, especially when you have a busy workload to factor in. Internet browsing for wedding suppliers can be frowned upon in the office and challenging when you have a toddler to keep an eye on. And planning a wedding from abroad brings all kinds of challenges, not least time difference.

Our expert advice can actually help you stay on budget and achieve your dreams within it. We know all the best suppliers and if there’s something you want, we’ll find it fast. We also know how to achieve cost efficiencies and find vendors that won’t overcharge you. We can help you negotiate contracts and get you the best deal, adding value to your wedding. And let’s not forget time is money. We can save you both.

If you don’t want your mum taking delivery of cakes, your dad up a ladder, your sister arranging centrepieces and you having a panic attack an hour before you’re due to walk down the aisle, then the answer is yes! After all, you’re spending a large sum of money on your wedding (maybe more than you’ve ever spent on anything), so a little extra to ensure peace of mind and actually enjoy the day is well worth it.
